St. Damian School Musical is This Weekend
Eighth graders will perform "The Lion King JR." three times at the Father Grimmel Center at st. Damian.

OAK FOREST, IL - The annual school musical St. Damian School is this weekend.
Middle-school age performers will show their version of "The Lion King JR." on Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 2 at 3 p.m.
The 60-minute musical is based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor and the 1994 Disney film. It will be performed by an eighth grade cast of about 40 students led by Lenn Kingsbury, the school's choir director.

“The class of 2017 beautifully brings the score and the story of The Lion King alive through their creativity, energy and talent. This is a show you won’t want to miss!” Kingsbury said.
Admission for all three performances - held in the Father Grimmel Center at St. Damian School, 5300 W. 155th St. - is $5.
