Suspect Flees On Foot After Police Chase, Car Crash: Oak Forest Police
The suspect was being chased by police north on Central Avenue.
OAK FOREST, IL — A suspect fled on foot after crashing the car he was driving in a chase with police, Oak Forest police said Tuesday evening.
The suspect crashed the vehicle at 147th and Central Avenue, said Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid. A male suspect was taken into custody. Police later stopped their search for a second suspect, a female.
All parties involved in the crash refused medical attention.

Oak Forest police were not involved in the initial pursuit, Reid said.
