Scarlet Oak School hosted a Veteran's Day celebration to honor veterans who are relatives of students. 18 veterans came to Scarlet Oak to hear the Scarlet Oak Singers. Students and veterans also learned about the history of Veterans Day, the branches of the Armed Forces and the traditions of giving poppies. Each veteran was given a poppy by their student attending Scarlet Oak.
