The city reportedly has a potential buyer for the property at 5340 W. 159th St., which is currently occupied by a former church. But they cannot discuss details just yet.

In the meantime, we can speculate and imagine on what might go into the space.

A dialysis center is slated to go on the back half of the property, although there appear to be yet a few hurdles to jump over. Officials hope this medical center will bring traffic. And, from that, people will stop at neighboring retail.

Developing the land also will presumably raise the property tax base, and any retail sales will bring in additional tax revenue.
