2023 Football Schedule Released For St. Laurence High School

BURBANK — With a little less than four weeks until the first high school football practices begin in Illinois on Aug. 7, the countdown to the fall season is officially underway. A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October, before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University.

The Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams. South Side fans will especially be keeping tabs on the local team at St. Laurence High School in Burbank.

This fall, the Vikings will be joined in the Chicago Catholic League's East Suburban Catholic Conference-White by Providence Catholic (New Lenox), Montini Catholic (Lombard) and Benet Academy (Lisle).

Locally, the regular season at home, when the St. Laurence faces Von Steuben (Chicago), Friday, Aug. 25. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
