Alleged Drunken Driver Spits Blood in Cop's Face: Prosecutor
Prosecutor wants blood draw to determine if man is "clean." Public defender requests photos of man's injuries to document alleged cop abuse.

Bridgeview, IL, A Bridgeview police officer got a face full of blood after he tried to help an intoxicated Hickory Hills man who was injured in a car crash, prosecutors said.
According to the charges, around 10:04 p.m. May 31, Bridgeview paramedics were called to the 7600 block of West 79th Street for a one-car accident.

Johnathan Ollry, 33, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on felony charges of aggravated battery to a police officer.
When paramedics arrived, they found Ollry lying in the road by the side of his car, bleeding from his head and neck. When the EMTs tried tending to him, the prosecutor said Ollry became aggressive.

Ollry allegedly started swinging his arms and legs, and saying “f--- the police.” He spit blood in one officer’s face and hit another officer in the chest, the prosecutor said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his blood alcohol content was reportedly measured at .290.
Ollry is currently on conditional discharge from Kendall County for electronic harassment and has a pending aggravated battery case. He also served three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a 2001 battery conviction, the prosecutor said.
The assistant public defender said Ollry is a tuck pointer and graduate of St. Laurence High School in Burbank.
Judge Felice set bail at $250,000. He also ordered random urine drops and no alcohol for Ollry.
The prosecutor asked for an order to draw blood from Ollry to determine if he’s “clean” because he spit blood in a police officer’s face.
The assistant public defender requested photographs of Ollry’s injuries to document alleged police abuse.
Ollry’s next court appearance is June 21 in Bridgeview.
