St. Laurence High School recently hired Brian Daly as their new wrestling coach. Brian competed as a wrestler for a decade, including four trips to the NCAA National Finals and two times in the largest Division I NCAA Championship Tournament. He comes to St. Laurence with a variety of coaching experience, including working at Landmark Education, a training and development company, as well as Awakened Athletes.
In addition to his coaching experience, Brian has helped create the New Life Fitness center, as well as the Small Team Fitness program and “aNewFitnessModel.com”. In his coaching, Brian works to guide others and help them reach their full potential.
“We are thrilled to have Brian as our new wrestling coach,” said Tim Chandler, Athletic Director. “Wally Bzdyk did a great job with the program, and I am confident that Brian will continue to move it forward. He has a great wrestling pedigree and a lot of connections in the wrestling world that will suit him well in his new role. I was really impressed with his passion, energy, and strong Catholic beliefs during his interview process. Brian is surrounding himself with some excellent coaches on his staff, including Wally who will stay on as an assistant, and I am looking for some great accomplishments from our wrestling program.”
