Anna Driscoll Has Season To Remember In Oak Lawn Girls Track
Oak Lawn Community High School senior Anna Driscoll shaved 9 seconds off her her personal best in the 1,600 meter.

OAK LAWN, IL — An athlete’s senior season is a time to rise to the top and become a leader for the team. Oak Lawn Community High School’s Anna Driscoll is doing just that for the girls track and field team this spring. She recently took third in the first outdoor invitational at Stagg in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 13:40, and she dropped nine seconds off her season-best time in the 1,600 with a time of 6:32.
But it wasn’t as easy as she is making it look to perform so well. It is a true dedication to the sport that is allowing her to shine so brightly.
“Anna is having a senior year to remember,” OLCHS head coach Joe Butler said. “She is an exceptional leader on the distance team, pushing her limits in practice to help improve her times. Her determination and inner drive will certainly push her to the top of the South Suburban Conference Red meet next month. Way to go, Anna.”
