Blessing Of The Bikes Returns For Second Year At Hometown-Murray VFW

HOMETOWN, IL — The Hometown-Murray and Auxiliary VFW Post 9773 is hosting a motorcycle blessing Saturday, so don’t be surprised if you see a lot of motorcycles tooling down Southwest Highway.

People are asked to start gathering at noon at the VFW hall, 9092 Main St., Hometown. Fr. Nick Cavaleary will bless the bikes at 1 p.m. All motorcycles are welcome.

Hang around afternoon for a free hot dog and chips while supplies last. The blessing will take place, rain or shine. Tell your friends.
