Board honors Richards softball, #5 in U.S. in team GPA
Second time in a decade the program has placed in Top 10!
The Board of Education of District 218 this week honored the 2014 varsity softball team from Richards High School for placing fifth in the nation in team grade point average.

Not pictured are 2014 graduates Sara Tobin and Molly Pohrebny and current senior Lauryn McManus -- “she’s home studying,” varsity head coach Julie Folliard explained at the Board meeting, drawing laughs.
