'Bucket Brigade' Volunteers Needed for Park Lawn Tag Days
Help a great cause by volunteering for Park Lawn's Tag Days March 30-31 and April 20-21 benefitting intellectually challenged persons.

OAK LAWN, IL -- One of the Southland's most beloved charities is revving up for its annual tag days. Park Lawn is looking for “bucket brigade” volunteers to help collect donations the weekends of March 30-31, and April 20-21. Volunteers are needed to stand at street intersections and in front of stores throughout the south suburbs.
Volunteers will serve as ambassadors to inform the local community about Park Lawn's mission to provide programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Safety vests, collection buckets and handouts with Park Lawn's logo will be provided to all volunteers. Locations can be scheduled close to home or your workplace. Volunteers will be assigned two-hour shifts. This is a great way for high school students to earn community service hours.
This is one of Park Lawn's biggest annual fundraisers. On average, Tag Days help raise more than $50,000 that directly benefits such programs and services as residential services, job training, sheltered workshop, social programs and residences at Park Lawn.
