Annual Germazing Race 5K Run/Walk &amp; Kids Obstacle Course benefiting St.
Germaine School.&nbsp; Saturday, April 25, 2026&nbsp; 
9:00 AM Start Time!&nbsp; Kids Obstacle will start at 10:30 AM after 5K
awards.
St. Germaine School
is located at 9735 S. Kolin, Oak Lawn.&nbsp;
The 5K Run/Walk will start promptly at 9 am on the corner of 98th &amp;
Kolin Ave. This is an out-and-back course, and the finish line is also located
in this area.&nbsp; All pre-registered 5K
participants will receive a goody bag, long sleeve or short sleeve (your
choice) cotton t-shirt if registered by March
30, 2026.
Children PreK - 2nd
Grade can sign up for the Kids Dash obstacle course at 10:30am.&nbsp; Each Kids Dash participant will receive a
short sleeve t-shirt if registered by March 30, 2026.&nbsp; 
Runners of the 5K
must be registered as a 5K participant- this gets you the "bib" that
is worn during the race to indicate you have been registered as a runner. ***If
your K-8 Child is participating in the 5k, please register for 5k Run/Walk.&nbsp; Must be
registered by March 30, 2026 to be guaranteed a race shirt.
Registration opens
outside of the St. Germaine Activity Center from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. The 5K
registration fee on race day is $45.
The
Germazing Race is one of our biggest community events of the year AND
sponsorships help keep our technology program strong and our students on a one
to one device program.&nbsp; We’re a few weeks
away from the March 21st sponsorship deadline and local businesses still have

Kilpatrick Ave., Oak Lawn.

Special education staff will discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools or home schools within District 218 during the 2026-2027 school year.&nbsp; Any parent of a homeschooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and lives in District 218 is encouraged to attend.
