CarMax Hiring for More than 2,500 Jobs in U.S.

Need a job? CarMax is hiring in a big way. The used-car chain just announced intentions to hire at least 2,500 workers across the country. Currently, CarMax lists 41 full and part-time jobs at its Illinois locations in Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Naperville, Glencoe, Schaumburg and Hillside.

Many of the newly created jobs this year — in sales, service operations, purchasing and the business office — will be in Atlanta, Denver, Miami, Cincinnati and Salt Lake City, according to a company announcement. CarMax employs 20,000 people at its 140 used-car dealerships.

CarMax has been one of FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” for 10 consecutive years.
