Celebrate Autumn at the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn's Fall Fest

Carve some pumpkins, make some crafts and ride a train at the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn's Fall Fest, Sept. 24.

OAK LAWN IL – Spend some time with your family in the great outdoors at the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn’s 2017 Fall Fest. The fun happens from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24. Admission to Fall Fest is FREE.

The Children’s Museum has added some new features this year in addition to the tried and true fall favorites. Fall Fest features a scavenger hunt, games, the science of paper airplanes, crafts, food and train rides. Professional pumpkin carver Marc Solomon will demonstrate how to carve your gourd.

The Woori Taekwondeo and Hapkido Academy team will be breaking boards along with Master Mike Pendleton. The Lavin Cassidy School of Irish Dance will entertain with song and gaelic dance. American Family Insurance- Don Murphy Agency is also giving away 500 FREE pumpkins as part of the scavenger hunt. After Fall Fest, venture into the children’s museum, where admission will be half-price, courtesy of AARP, which will also have a photo booth and ice cream social.

The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn is located at 5100 Museum Drive, Oak Lawn. Free parking is available at the Oak Lawn Metra Parking Garage, 9525 S. Tulley Ave.
