South Shore Concealed Carry Holder Shoots Home Invader: CPD
The suspect was hit in the leg and taken to a hospital in fair condition, Chicago police said. The incident appears to be domestic related.

CHICAGO — A concealed carry license holder shot a 30-year-old man who broke into his South Shore apartment Monday morning in what Chicago police say may be a domestic related incident.
Just after 12:30 a.m., police said the man broke into an apartment in the 7100 block of South Jeffery Boulevard. A 29-year-old man inside the apartment who was armed with a handgun shot the man, wounding him in the leg, according to police.
The 29-year-old had a concealed carry license. Police said the wounded man was taken into custody and transported to University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition. The concealed carry license holder was not injured.
