D218 students at Southworks Meet & Greet

About 30 students from Richards, Shepard, and Eisenhower high schools and Delta and Summit Learning Centers from District 218 attended the Southworks Meet & Greet 2023 at Governors State University.

Students received information about the Southworks Engineering and Robotics Olympics and met representatives from numerous companies (including Apple, Amazon, Donson, MiJack and Kocsis) to discuss opportunities in engineering technology, manufacturing and IT.

Students also had the opportunity to meet with MVCC, Governor State, CAIC and OAI workforce development.
