A-Guy Heating &amp; Air is not your typical heating and cooling service company. We specialize in Mitsubishi mini split heat pump systems. You may be wondering what in tarnation a mini split heat pump is? A mini split is a unit that generally hangs on your wall and gives you both heating and cooling for a single space that doesn’t stay comfortable such as a bedroom, office, or addition. And no, it’s not a magic box that hangs on the wall. The system has 2 parts, an indoor and outdoor unit. The outdoor unit is similar to the air conditioner outside of many homes. The difference is that it’s skinnier and taller. The benefit to this type of system is that it’s much quieter than your traditional air conditioner and more energy efficient too. And no this isn’t some new sci-fi inspired technology. The equipment has been in the United States since the early 80’s. It’s only now starting to gain popularity in the Chicagoland area. Granted the performance has of the equipment has drastically improved since then. The Northeast and the West coast have been using this tech for over 20 years, while the rest of the world utilizes it as their main heating and cooling source as they do not have ductwork like we do. A-Guy not only brings state of the art technology to your home, but ultimate comfort as well.

Kilpatrick Ave., Oak Lawn.

Special education staff will discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools or home schools within District 218 during the 2026-2027 school year.&nbsp; Any parent of a homeschooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and lives in District 218 is encouraged to attend.
