Doggie Easter Egg Hunt Set For Bailey's Crossing Dog Park

Oak Lawn Park District will host an Easter egg hunt for doggies only on April 6 at Bailey's Crossing Dog Park. Contests, prizes featured.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Bring your pooch for an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 6 at the Oak Lawn Park District’s Bailey’s Crossing Dog Park. Pet vendors and doggie contests are featured for a stimulating outing with your best friend from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per household and preregistration is required.

Gates open to the public and vendors at 10 a.m. The egg hunt starts promptly at 10:35 a.m. Contests, raffles and prizes will follow. Enter your pup for the best costume (any costume can enter) best trick, dog-celebrity look-alike contest, furthest dog, and most tricks in 30 seconds contests -- so better start working on your dog’s beer-fetching skills now.

This is a leashed event, so all dogs need to be on a leash. Registration is required before April 5 (use code 316301-01). Bailey’s Crossing Dog Park is located at 9910 S. Melvina Ave. in Oak Lawn (across from Columbus Manor Park). Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the egg hunt, but preregistration is greatly appreciated or supply-count purposes.
