Eisenhower students qualify for Honor Roll

For GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49!

Dwight D. Eisenhower High School proudly announces that the students listed below qualified for academic honors for the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year.

Administrators noted that the number of students qualifying for academic honors compared favorably to previous semesters. At one point last fall, they realized that the limits of remote learning exerted an adverse effect on student grades.

Together with teachers, they intervened with a range of measures to help students succeed.

“Due to these unprecedented times, we realized a significant increase in failures as of October across the district,” said Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Josh Barron.

“Through the work of our Multi-Tiered System of Supports teams and the tireless work from our teachers to connect, tutor and provide make up opportunities, our end results were not much different than the past five years in terms of student failures. The Herculean efforts from all stakeholders provided the best-case scenario for grades in this uncertain and hopefully once in a lifetime moment in our nationwide school system,” Barron added.
