
Principal Dr. Erik Briseno and Eisenhower High School welcomed several new faculty members for the 2021-2022 school year
The new staff members include special education teacher family and consumer science teacher Katie Comparin who earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree from Governors State University; Amber Douglas, a special education teacher who earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and two master’s degrees from St. Xavier University; special education teacher Jesse Gonzalez, who earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from St. Xavier University.
Also, Akire Hawkins, a social studies teacher who earned a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a master’s degree from Boston College; art teacher Elizabeth Meraz-Lechuga, who earned bachelor’s degree from DePaul University; English Language Learner teacher Magaly Munoz, who earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Also, Tier III Interventionist Kelly Robinson, who earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Leo University and a master’s degree from Concordia University; math teacher Iran Rodriguez, who earned a bachelor’s degree from Governors State University; and, counselor Cynthia Saldana, who earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a master’s degree from National Louis University.
