The Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St., will host a free lunchtime screening of My Neighbor Totoro (1988) from 12-2 p.m. on Friday, July 8.
Patrons of all ages are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy this animated Japanese import about two young girls who move to the country to be near their ailing mother. Once there, they have fun-filled adventures with the forest spirits who live nearby.
No advance registration is required. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
