In this 1966 science-fiction film based on a novel by Ray Bradbury, a fireman whose duty it is to destroy all books begins to question this task after he meets a book-hoarding young woman. Starring Oskar Werner and Julie Christie. Running time: 112 minutes.
This movie is one of 13 titles featured in the library’s weekly “Reel Books” series of films that are based on a book.
