Friends of the Oak Lawn Library Discussion Group

Friends of the Oak Lawn Library is sponsoring two separate short stories and book discussion groups for short stories every month until May.

The short story "New Trends" by Karl Taro Greenfeld will be discussed on Nov. 10. Copies may be picked up one month in advance at the Help Desk.

Book discussions are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. "The Elephant Keeper" by Christopher Nicholson will be discussed on Oct. 27 and copies of the book may be checked out one month in advance at the Circulation Desk.

There will be no book discussion meeting in November because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
