
The Friends of the Oak Lawn Library will host a Chicago Supernatural Ghost Tour bus trip Wednesday, Oct. 19. An in-person registration will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St.
Take a unique tour of the Windy City with ghost hunter Richard Crowe as he tells stories and provides facts about some colorful characters, disasters and tragedies that occurred in the Chicagoland area. The tour will include gangster tales, curses and miracles, and ethnic folklore and ghost lore, along with a pizza lunch at “Marcello’s, Father & Son” restaurant on North Avenue.
The bus will depart from the library at 10 a.m. and return at 3 p.m. The cost of the trip is $50 for Friends members and $55 for others. Members must present a current membership card or receipt to receive the $5 discount. Two ticket limit. Please be advised that this trip is not wheelchair accessible.
