The Oak Lawn Public Library will host a free lecture on the opera “Tales of Hoffmann” on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1:30 p.m.
At this informative session, a member of the Lyric Opera Lecture Corps will explain the plot, play musical selections and give background on the composer, Jacques Offenbach. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Lawn Library.
