Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing is July 13

The Oak Lawn Chamber will hold its annual golf outing on Wednesday, July 13, at Stony Creek Golf Course, 5850 W. 103rd St.

The golf outing is the chamber’s largest fundraiser.

The fee of $115 per person includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner and drinks.  Other packages include $80 for golf only or $50 for dinner only. The chamber will offer miniature golf beginning at 4 p.m. The cost is $60 per person for miniature golf and dinner or $15 for golf only.

Golf registration begins at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. 

An open bar will begin at the conclusion of golf followed by a buffet dinner.  Advance reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the first time ever, Stony Creek will be home to a golf ball drop. The dropping of 2,000 golf balls from a helicopter will take place at approximately 5 p.m. The event is part of the Oak Lawn Rotary’s efforts to raise money for the 9-11 First Responder Monument being constructed in the village.

The outing will host a Special and Grand Raffle. The latter will feature a Hawk Ford Car Care Package, $750, Fine Silver and Multi-Colored CZ Bracelet, $250, courtesy of Jackie Truty and Art Clay World, Kindle 3G with Wi-Fi, $200, courtesy of an anonymous donor and Four (4) White Sox tickets plus a parking pass, $186, courtesy of Marquette Bank.

Grand raffle tickets cost $10 each or three for $25 and can be purchased in advance through the chamber office or the day of the outing.
