
The second annual SouthSide Oktoberfest runs 5-11 p.m. on Friday, noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and noon to 8 p.m. on Monday.
Food vendors include Durbin’s of Burbank, which will be selling Italian beef and sausage sandwiches, walking tacos and pizza; Papa T's of Burbank; Bobak Sausage; Smakowski’s Deli; Home Bakery; Diana's Kitchen of Tinley Park; Chicago Classics and Pina Coladas.

- Plenty of bands
- A beer tent
- A carnival.
- A Classic Car Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 4, with cars competing in 33 different categories. Winners will get trophies and dash plaques. Two lucky car buffs will walk away with Best of Show and Participants Choice awards.
- There will even be a beer stein holding contest.
- General admission is $5, but kids 12 and under and seniors 65 and older get in for free. There is also free admission for anyone who shows up wearing Lederhosen or a Dirndl.
