Looking for plans over spring break?  The Oak Lawn Park District has three special activities planned for children, grades kindergarten through 8th, that will take place at the Oak View Center (4625 W. 110th Street) during the month of March.

Decorate your own flower pot, and then plant seeds in them to grow all spring long at the Flower Pot program on Tuesday, March 20th, from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm.  The registration fee is $8 for residents and $10 for non-residents.

Enjoy a movie and free popcorn with your family and friends at the program Let’s Go to the Movies, on Wednesday, March 21st, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.  The registration fee is $2 for residents and $3 for non-residents.

Sign up for the Spring Gingerbread House Decorating program on Thursday, March 22nd, from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm. The park district will provide the house, candy and supplies for decorating so all you have to bring is your creative touch and a box lid or container to carry your masterpiece home. The registration fee is $18 for residents and $20 for non-residents.

You must register for each program by Saturday, March 17th.  For more information, please contact Maura Kennedy at 708-857-2200, ext. 2605.
