The St. Laurence and Queen of Peace Alumni Band will perform “Together in Harmony,” conducted by Mr. PJ Henning, band director for St. Laurence and Queen of Peace. After the success of last year’s performance honoring St. Laurence’s 50th Anniversary, a sequel is in order. This concert will kick-off Queen of Peace’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
Around one hundred music loving alumni will break out their instruments, accompanied by current band members, for an afternoon of outstanding musical entertainment including selections from John Phillips Sousa, Shostakovich, Ticheli and Sinatra. Alumnae of the Peace Color Guard will once again be joining in the day’s festivities.
The concert is completely free, and good will contributions are being accepted benefitting the St. Laurence and Queen of Peace High School Band and the Peace 50th Anniversary Curriculum Fund. A reception will take place following the concert for everyone in attendance.
