Fabulous Spring Trip: "My Fair Lady" at the Lyric Opera House
In-person registration at the Oak Lawn Public Library, on Saturday, March. 11 from 9:30-10:30am

Join the Friends of the Oak Lawn Public Library when the beloved musical classic “My Fair Lady” comes to life at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. The charming story follows Eliza Doolittle, a young flower seller with a strong Cockney accent, and Professor Henry Higgins, the phonetics professor who believes he can teach her to speak like a proper lady. “My Fair Lady” is packed with love and laughter, and is guaranteed to capture your heart with familiar songs, including “On the Street Where You Live,” “Get Me to the Church on Time” and the delightfully infectious “I Could Have Danced All Night.” In-person registration at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 S. Raymond Avenue, on Saturday, March. 11 from 9:30-10:30am. Cost: $75 for members and $80 for non-members. Max: 55. Must present a current membership card or receipt to receive the $5 discount. Two ticket limit per person; no refunds or exchanges. After the in-person registration closes, contact Joanne Neff at the Oak Lawn Public Library at 708-422-4990 to find out how you can purchase tickets or join the waiting list. Trips sponsored by the Friends of the Library are not wheelchair accessible.
