FALL STUDENT-ATHLETES RECOGNIZED FOR OUTSTANDING CLASSROOM WORK

One of the things that makes amateur athletics great is the idea that these athletes go beyond having to excel on the field. They need to push themselves to new heights on and off the field. The Illinois High School Association and the South Suburban Conference have recently honored the junior and senior fall athletes for the job they are doing in school as it released its list of Academic Achievement Awards.

Here is a rundown of Oak Lawn Spartans pushing to be the best they can by amassing a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
