Frosh Bilski Makes Presence Known On Oak Lawn Varsity Swim Team

OAK LAWN, IL — Although he is a freshman, Destin Bilski certainly proved to have varsity mettle in the pool this past season for Oak Lawn Community High School. At the South Suburban Conference boys swim meet, he took second in the 100-yard breaststroke and helped the 200-yard medley relay finish third. His 50-yard freestyle earned him a Top Six spot in conference as well.

“He has been swimming since he was five years old and plans to get even better next season,” OLCHS head coach Derek Maciaga said.
