‘Guardians Of The Library’ Celebrates Pop Culture, Free Comic Book Day
All fandoms of pop culture will converge Saturday, May 6, at the Oak Lawn Public Library for Fan Fest and Free Comic Book Day.
OAK LAWN, IL — All fandoms of pop culture will converge Saturday, May 6, at Fan Fest Vol. 7 Guardians of the Library. The free, all-ages celebration of pop culture and Free Comic Book Day will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 S. Raymond Ave.
The library will host an exhibit hall featuring local artists, boutiques, writers and vendors, Smarty Pants Big Balloon Show and live performances the K-Pop dance team Prism Kru and more, including:
Free Comic Books
Panels
Crafts and activities
All-day photo booth
Cosplay competition
After-hours adult trivia
PRIZES!

Local talent will host panels throughout the day, featuring Creating Characters for Dungeons and Dragons, Library Fan Fest 101, Level Up with Tools You Find in the Library, a Marvel Snap tutorial, Obento 101 and a K-Pop dance class.
