Prosecutors said during a bond hearing on Thursday that Alfaro was contacted by an acquaintance to assist him in setting up a fake drug deal to rob Galindo, Fox 32 News reported.

In exchange for his help, Alfaro would receive some marijuana, prosecutors said. He contacted another acquaintance who met Galindo later that afternoon. During the drug deal, the acquaintance pulled out a gun and shot Galindo, reports said.
