Jazz Ensemble from Richards performs at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Here’s a gallery of photos of the award-winning Jazz Ensemble -- they’ve been selected to perform next January at the Illinois Music Educators Association state conference -- playing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

The trip continues today as the band, choir, and theater programs head to New York City. They will arrive in their hotel in Englewood, New Jersey at about 6 p.m.

On Friday, theater students will to participate in Broadway 101 clinic, an introduction to Broadway, basic theatre, and creativity skills. The group starts with physical and vocal warm‐ups, followed by interactive focus.

Tomorrow the Richards group will visit Times Square before heading to the USS Intrepid museum. There, the band will perform on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier.
