Juveniles Involved In Oak Lawn Gas Station Shooting: Police
The victim of a shooting at the Citgo gas station on Cicero Thursday night is recovering from a non-life threatening wound.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn police have confirmed the shooting at the Citgo gas station at 98th and Cicero Thursday night. An investigation is ongoing into the incident reported at 9:42 p.m. in which an individual was shot in the leg, a police spokesman told Patch Friday morning.
The victim, previously reported as an 18-year-old former Oak Lawn Community High School football player, was shot by a known acquaintance according to Randy Palmer, division chief of investigations for the Oak Lawn Police Department.
"Juveniles are involved and I cannot release names," Palmer said.

As of Friday morning, the victim is still recovering at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Palmer said the wound is a non-life threatening injury.
