Lee's 'Threes' Lead Oak Lawn Spartan Hoops To Red-Hot January
Oak Lawn Community High School's Corey Lee shot 39-percent from 3-point land, and turned up the heat on offense and defense.

OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Community High School boys basketball team went 9-1 in the month of January. Junior Corey Lee was the driving force in that red-hot month of hoops. He shot nearly 39-percent from three-point land, controlled the ball on offense, and turned up the heat on defense. He averaged 4.9 assists a game, scored 11.9 points per game, and added nearly two steals a game.
February has been just as productive for Lee. Through five games, he is averaging 19.4 points a game and is shooting almost 48-percent from behind the three-point arc.
“Corey significantly cut down on his turnovers and began heating up beyond the three-point line,” OLCHS head basketball coach Jason Rhodes said. “He continues to be our best ball defender. His strong play has continued into February.”
