Oak Lawn Police Chief Randy Palmer called Carroll one of the department’s hardest working and most dedicated officers.
“While performing traffic enforcement he has made felony arrests and recovered numerous weapons, keeping our community safe,” Palmer said. “He has received multiple letters from citizens recognizing his compassion and professionalism when dealing with the public under stressful situations. Officer Carrol is a credit to the Oak Lawn Police Department and the village is fortunate to have him as an officer.”
