Lipinski Hosts Town Hall This Saturday At Oak Lawn High School

OAK LAWN, IL -- Congressman Dan Lipinski (IL-3rd) will be hosting a town hall meeting this Saturday, Jan. 12, starting at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in Oak Lawn Community High School’s new Performing Arts Center, so the seats will be extra comfy. There will be a question-and-answer session.

At the Town Hall meeting, area residents will be able to hear from Rep. Lipinski about his work on their behalf at home and in Washington, as well as ask questions and voice their opinions about federal issues. Staff from the congressman’s offices will be available beginning 8 a.m. until the start of the meeting to provide assistance with Medicare, Social Security, veterans’ benefits, and other federal matters.

"I encourage those who can attend to come to my upcoming town hall meeting," Lipinski said in a news release. "There’s been a power shift in Washington and I want to answer your questions about how it will impact residents of the 3rd District. It is my absolute privilege to serve as your representative and be a conduit for your concerns. I value all the feedback I receive during town halls and use it to help inform my decision-making. In addition, this event will be a great opportunity for you to get assistance with federal issues and learn about the wide array of constituent services my office provides."
