NEW! Sylvan Learning Center in Tinley Park is looking for energetic and passionate instructors that can teach all levels of Math and Science classes. Instructors are needed for weekday afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. There are no lesson plans or preparation. Instructors will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a 3:1 setting. As a Sylvan Instructor, job candidates will provide personalized instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, Study Skills, SAT/ACT prep and State exams to students of all levels. The Oak Lawn Park District is currently recruiting aquatics swim instructors to teach aquatics fitness classes on Saturday mornings year round at Richards High School’s indoor pool. The qualified candidate will possess experience in leading an exercise group in aquatics or related area.. Must possess Aquatic Fitness and/or Water Aerobic Certification This is a part time, hourly position averaging 1-3 hours per week. The job pays $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Fall Mock Interview Day -- Whether you’re a novice or veteran job hunter, practice your interviewing skills at the Job Resource Center at Moraine Valley Community College’s Fall Mock Interview Day. The college is also seeking employers to volunteer as interviewers of job hunters looking to learn and brush up on their job interviewing skills, plus offer sage advice and pointers. The event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Moraine Business and Conference Center (Building M) on the MVCC campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, in Palos Hills.
