March In Oak Lawn's 2019 Fourth of July Parade
Want to march in Oak Lawn's Fourth of July parade? Applications being taken through June 14.

OAK LAWN, IL -- The Oak Lawn Special Events Committee is busy planning the Fourth of July Parade. Organizations, scouts, veterans, businesses, civic groups, youth sports teams, dance troupes, schools and places of worship have until June 14 to complete an application to march in the parade.
The Fourth of July parade steps off at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 4. There is no registration fee to march in the parade. The route will proceed west on 95th Street from 51st Avenue to 55th Court.
Parade participants are asked NOT TO THROW CANDY from cars or floats. Participants may politely hand candy out to spectators along the parade line. It's much SAFER for children watching the parade. Here are a few more guidelines:
- Decorations are mandatory for all vehicles. Only
- For safety reasons, bicycles, roller blades, and similar items are prohibited from the parade.
- If you represent an organization with separate groups, please do not submit only one application.
- Marchers are encouraged to have banners identifying their group or entry.
- Dogs should not walk in the parade for both safety concerns and to prevent overheating.
Late entries will not be accepted.
