Marist Holds Winter Break Football and Baseball Camps

Marist High School's football and baseball programs will hold two camps for seventh and eighth grade boys Dec. 27 and Dec. 28.

Marist High School’s football and baseball programs are holding free clinics during Christmas break. The camps give seventh and eighth grade boys a chance to get out of the house and work off some energy while off from school.

Marist Coach Pat Dunner and his football staff will hold a camp from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 for seventh and eighth grade boys. Campers will increase speed and improve position skills.

Baseball head coach kevin Sefcik will hold a camp from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28 for eighth grade boys. He and his staff will work with players to improve batting and offensive and defensive skills.

The camps are free. Campers must register online in advance and need to bring the completed permission form with them to the first camp they attend. Boys should wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring bats for the baseball camp if possible. Enter at the main gym. Marist is located at 4200 W. 115th Street in Chicago.
