OAK LAWN, IL — In honor of the Chicago Polar Plunge, TikTok star Officer Daniels and 21 Pineapples CEO Nate the Great Simon will be meeting fans Saturday, March 5. The meet-and-greet runs from noon to 2 p.m. at STACKED Pancake House, 5273 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn.

Beverly resident Nate Simon, 19, is an actor, model and a multisport athlete in Special Olympics Chicago. He is also the CEO of his own shirt company, 21 Pineapples, who designs Hawaiian shirts and other gear with the core mission of changing the way others perceive individuals with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. The idea for the company was born from Simon's love of Hawaiian shirts.

Simon is the first Special Olympics athlete in history to design the official T-shirt for Chicago Polar Plunge, which is being presented this weekend by Jackson National Life Insurance Company. The 21 Pineapples Chicago Polar Plunge shirt features Simon's image on the front with the Chicago Polar Plunge mascot, Shiver. The shirt is available for purchase online by visiting 21 Pineapples.
