OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Park District invites residents to a community meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7, to hear plans for a proposed indoor family aquatic center. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Oak Lawn Community Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave.

Under consideration is an indoor aquatic center to be built on the community pavilion with water features for all ages. The park district is thinking about it containing a lap pool, zero depth entry with a splash pad and water walking vortex. Conceptual drawings and proposed details will be provided at the meeting.
