Missing Cat Rescued From Site Of Apartment Fire

One of three cats missing after an apartment fire last Sunday came out of hiding and was reunited with its family.

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn firefighters were back at the scene of an apartment fire that displaced eight people last Sunday. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire in 30 minutes, but not before the fire caused significant damage.

Firefighters went back to the building on Tuesday when one of the missing cats came out of hiding. The cat was brought to Oak Lawn Animal Control, waiting to be reunited with its family.
