Metra police are on the scene after an outbound #803 train hit an SUV Wednesday morning in Oak Lawn, leaving the vehicle badly damaged.
The accident happened around 8 a.m. at Southwest Highway and Kilbourn. Early reports indicate no injuries on the train or in the vehicle. The SUV didn't quite make it over the tracks in time, according to reports.
