OAK LAWN, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

She went above and beyond her duties to bring items to a loved one who was dying that she didn't know on a COVID-19 floor.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:

Annette makes sandwiches for the homeless and is always giving her time to the community.
