Oak Lawn 4th of July Activities
Oak Lawn is the perfect place to celebrate the 4th of July with these activities!

Start your celebration on Thursday, July 4th at the Village of Oak Lawn’s Annual 4th of July Parade. The parade kicks off at 10:00am at 95th Street and 51st Avenue and heads westbound to 95th Street and 55th Ct.
After the Parade ends, continue the fun at the Oak Lawn Park District’s 4th of July Party in the Park event at Memorial Park, 102nd & Major Ave.
In conjunction with the Oak Lawn Park District’s 75th Anniversary, we are showing our appreciation to the community for their continued support by offering FREE Admission at this year’s event.

Day time festivities will begin with a variety of family activities from 12:00 – 4:00pm that includes: A treasure hunt, Adult and Youth Watermelon Eating Contests, fishing derby, carnival games, inflatables, bingo, crafts, magician, balloon animals, Food Trucks, Storyteller provided by the Oak Lawn Public Library, concessions and more!
Take a short stroll from Memorial Park to Stony Creek Golf Course, Restaurant & Banquets (103rd St.) to participate in a mini-golf tournament and longest drive contest. The facilities dining room will also be open for food and drink purchases.

Free evening entertainment will be held at the football field at Richards High School (106th Street and Central Avenue). Gates will open at 6:00pm. G.A.C. Entertainment will provide music at 7:00pm followed by a spectacular fireworks display that is cosponsored by the Village of Oak Lawn.
Also enjoy $2 admission to Central Pool, 9400 S. Kenton Ave. and Centennial Aquatics Center, 94th & Nashville, on July 4th only.
