Oak Lawn Chamber Senior Health and Safety Expo
Senior Health Safety Expo features educational sessions, screenings, home security tips and more March 27 at the Oak Lawn Senior Center.
OAK LAWN, IL -- The Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce will host a Senior Health and Safety Expo from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 27. The expo includes free health screenings and education sessions specifically aimed toward older persons. The expo will be held at the Oak Lawn Senior Center, 5220 W. 105th St., Oak Lawn.
Educational sessions focusing on diabetes, Medicare ABCs and safety/security start at 9:30 a.m. The lineup of activities also features:
- Ask Your Pharmacist
- Balance Screening
- Blood Pressure Screening
- Blood Sugar Testing
- Home Security Tips
- Insurance/Medicare/VA Benefits
- Senior Support Services
- Spine Screening
- and much more
Local businesses are also invited to exhibit, distribute information and conduct complimentary health screenings. The cost to exhibit is $25 for chamber members (per table); and $75 for non-members (per table).
