Oak Lawn District 229 Coronavirus Information

From Oak Lawn Community High School:

As you likely know, public concern about the Coronavirus continues to grow.

Consistent with our handling of previous widespread health issues, please be assured that District 229 will continue to be in regular contact with local, state and federal health departments and will follow all appropriate guidance and direction.

We will continue to communicate to our families and community as advised by health officials. At this time there are no known instances of any confirmed Coronavirus cases in our area or school district. A memo from the Illinois Department of Public Health recommends utilizing everyday preventive actions including staying home when sick, covering coughs and sneezes, frequent handwashing, and routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces and objects.
